Did you know that the streets of Barcelona hide beautiful visual poems?
There are, in various parts of the city, small corners inhabited by beautiful lettering, vintage typographies, old posters that belong to traditional local shops. Walking through the Sants road we will discover the history of these posters and the traditional crafts they offer, as guardians of the memory of a city that is slowly becoming extinct.
This route is an invitation to a slow contemplation of Barcelona’s streets, markets and squares with charm. These typographies, in danger of extinction, keep alive the essence of the neighborhoods. This is an intimate story to be read with your feet.
Barcelona is a very dynamic city and in constant transformation. Where maps become obsolete quickly. The changing reality, memory and collective knowledge are only found on the street. Experiencing the street reduces the world to a more human scale. From this perspective and through dialogue with our neighbors, the neighborhood becomes an agora of critical thinking, a place of encounter, of play, of genuine expression and source of shared information.
