Overview

Guided tour of the fishermen’s wharf

Come and meet the fishermen’s wharf guided by passionate marine biologists!

An authentic itinerary to follow the route of the fish, from the sea to our table. We will discover the different types of boats and fishing gear used to capture different species, such as trawling and purse seine.

At the time of our visit, the first fishing boats return. We will be in contact with the daily life of the fishermen and we will see with our eyes what happens to the fish once landed on land.

Once in the market, we will know how a fish market works and you can attend the reverse fish auction. In addition we will learn to recognize fresh and local species and import, plus some tips to make a responsible purchase.

Meeting point: Moll del Rellotge at the end of Escar street.
